Eat Better ... Spend less

And Leave with a Smile!

Our goal is to provide you with the best seasonal local fruits, vegetables, and lettuces, both organic and conventional, at the lowest possible price.

Some are grown on site -- others just down the street. All are the highest-quality we can

find for you.

Our Farms

Why We Support Small Local Farms

People all over America have started asking where their food is coming from and how it’s being grown. Chefs and nutritionists have shown us that the fruits and vegetables we buy from the supermarket really are “not as good as they used to be.”

One reason is that the giant international corporations have taken control of America’s food supply. They have bred the taste and nutritive value right out of fruits and vegetables by selecting or genetically engineering varieties solely on the basis of how well they survive being shipped thousands of miles. Then, because they have to be shipped so far, these lesser varieties are picked before they’re ripe and allowed to sit for days or weeks before they ever get to market.

That creates very real concerns about food security due to natural disaster or terrorists sabotaging our centralized food-distribution system and Americans are now clamoring for locally-grown foods—because they taste better, are safer, and the supply chain is more reliable.

We are helping supply that demand by encouraging local farms to grow more and making their vegetables available to you with little or no delay.

Serving Palm City, Stuart, Pt. St. Lucie, Tradition, Indiantown, and the greater Treasure Coast.

Our Community

Good People having Good Times

Palm City Farms is a unique rural community of retirees, young families, equestrians, and people who just want to escape the hustle and bustle of urban living. Our goal is to put a smile on their faces. And it’s working!

Whether it's our equestrian and canine visitors, the Palm City Pumpkin Patch, or Palm City Farms' first Food Trucks and wildlife exhibits, the smiles on people's faces indicate they're having a good time.

Serving up tasty local tidbits … with a touch of salt and an occasional pinch

of spice … as needed!

Stop by Mother Mary's LOCAL SOUP for an eclectic mix of information about local businesses, people, places, issues, events, recipes, day trips, historical tidbits, and other miscellaneous items that make Martin County and the Treasure Coast a true treasure.

My name is Mary and I am a mother. I’ll never be the cook my mother was, but this column isn’t really about that kind of soup.

I’ve spent most of my 70-odd years stirring up one kind of debate after another in Martin County … as a community activist, County Commissioner, attorney, and “Award-Winning Author” of local historical fiction. (Trumpets and drum rolls, please!)

I’ll be seasoning this particular pot with stories about people I’ve gotten to know and things I’ve learned along the way.

But my secret mission is to convince you it's in your own best interest to support small local businesses.

Think Local! Buy Local!

And tell 'em Mary sent you!

Who We Are

An Old-Time Country Store with Wi-Fi.

Palm City Farms Produce & Market has Fresh Local Foods you can't get anywhere else.

We're small, family-owned, and local ... but we believe in big ideas.

We want to help our local small businesses grow. So, we carry the largest selection of local foods you can find anywhere ... from local fruits and vegetables to local fish-dip, milk and honey, and craft beers.

We believe that quality matters. Quality products ... quality service ... and a safe, clean, high-quality place where you can bring the kids ... take your time, and enjoy shopping again.

And we're the safest place you can shop ... full of sunshine and fresh air with lots of room to social distance and we follow the CDC Guidelines.

But first and foremost ... we're like family ... happy to be part of the Palm City Farms Community, providing personal service and first-class produce, with a 21st-Century emphasis on locally-grown products, staples, organics, and  gourmet foods.

We're always looking for the best we can bring you and offer a full range of specialty foods, grocery items, such as milk, bread, and cheese, refreshments and snacks, as well as local crafts, art and information about the history of Martin County and the Treasure Coast.

Like traditional general stores, we are also a center where the community comes together. And not just for Pumpkin Patches or public meetings.

Our tall, red, barn-like, open-air market--with rockers and small tables on wide shady porches--provides a welcoming atmosphere where guests are comfortable sitting for a while, nibbling on snacks, chatting with friends, or simply soaking up the rural air.

Stop in and say, "Hello," to our friendly staff. We're always happy to see you!
